Unlocking higher impact for purpose-driven brands through strategic facilitation

do it together

The problem with the “do it for you” approach

For far too long, we’ve spent precious energy & resources trying to convince people. We know that facts don’t change our minds.

Watching sustainable businesses from the sidelines over the years has given us enough evidence of one thing — people are resistant to change, which slows down the pace of positive change these organizations can create.

Facilitation instead of consulting

We take a “do it together” approach which invites people (leaders, employees, investors, customers, & other stakeholders) to take a seat at the same table. It gives everyone a sense of shared ownership & responsibility to shape the final decisions together.

We catalyze impact-driven businesses to bravely recruit your people to be a stronger force for good, together.

Strategic facilitation is at the heart of getting a Yes, and… from all stakeholders to have ownership over creating actionable positive change.

Our Services

  • Easy breezy whiteboard sessions where we join you as your creative partner to work on specific problems you want to solve together.

  • Half-day or full-day workshops created for communities, entrepreneurs, startups & larger organizations. Have us create custom workshops for you based on your needs, or select from our existing range of workshops.

  • Clinics meet workshops, these sessions are created to work through businesses challenges — whether you know the problem already, or want to find out why your business is not performing as expected.

  • We think brand, marketing & innovation move at sluggish speeds oftentimes.

Typically lasting a week, these sprints seek to derisk, lower the cost and increase the speed to implement new solutions or make changes through rapid ideation and prototyping.

  • Facilitators on hire to help you with your event - anything from a meeting, to a conference, to a community conversation, to a retreat.

What People Are Saying

“As a solopreneur starting out, it was difficult for me to relate my vision to the world. When I met Anya to explore possibilities together, they really listened, clarified and sought to understand what I am passionate about. By translating my vision into brand strategies, stories and design, they empowered me to share my dreams with others in a way they could relate to. Being a founder themself, they could anticipate the challenges I would have and design processes that emphasized efficiency. Unlike others whom we pay for services, Anya is really more of a creative partner who embarks on this entrepreneurial journey with us to co-create a relatable brand.”

“Anya’s facilitation starts even before the actual session. It comes in the emails, the prep, the guide, intention setting etc. That they get people to do, which I think is really what makes their sessions that much more meaningful and able to go deeper because both physical and mental space is set up properly. It is considered design in the sessions that Anya designs.

I think so many facilitators try to shape the conversation to follow a certain narrative that THEY want the conversation to be. But Anya doesn’t do that — they have the ability to let the conversation be what it needs to be. They really let the conversation unfold into what it needs to be, which is so hard to do. And also more valuable. People actually arrive at meaningful new findings that way rather than be subconsciously fed ideas or a way of thinking. Everyone is looked after! They really do make sure everyone gets heard and everyone is empowered and has agency in the space. Despite their capacity to hold space for conversations to unfold into uncomfortable shapes, they also have the ability to steer the emotional journey into something fulfilling and nurturing at the end of it regardless.

Anya can also manage difficult personalities kindly. Like it's really hard not to use authority to facilitate, but they find a way to do so through warmth and kindness, it makes all the conversations they facilitate fundamentally safe. And that safety allows everyone to venture into discomfort or challenge notions that would otherwise be too nervous to explore.

They also bravely embody better communication habits. I still remember how even in meetings, Anya just calmly but surely, reframes questions, or even sentences to embody a healthier communication method.

Overall, Anya makes sure people feel held WHILE maintaining good timekeeping. I think a lot of facilitators either give people this sense of "there's no rush" by letting sessions just overrun or subconsciously pass on this "we need to be on schedule" vibe to their circle. It always feels like we're in a warm bubble when they facilitate, there's no rush, ample time...but somehow also always ending in a timely fashion.”
